Boston College stunned No. 10 Florida State with a commanding 28-13 victory, marking the Eagles' first win over the Seminoles since 2017 and their first in Tallahassee since 2008—when B.J. Raji and Anthony Castonzo were on the roster.
The Eagles dominated the game with a relentless rushing attack, racking up 267 yards and two touchdowns. Kye Robichaux, Treshaun Ward, and quarterback Thomas Castallenos each contributed over 70 rushing yards. This ground game control allowed Boston College to establish an early lead that they maintained throughout.
Florida State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei struggled in his second start with the Seminoles, completing just 10 of his first 25 passes and throwing a crucial interception that Boston College quickly converted into a touchdown. Although Uiagalelei showed some improvement in the second half, particularly with the emergence of Kentron Poitier as a target, it was too late to turn the game around.
The Seminoles were overmatched overall, rushing for only 21 yards and allowing Boston College to dominate possession for nearly 40 minutes. The Eagles' ability to control the clock and grind down Florida State led to an easy victory.
