Saturday, August 31, promises a thrilling day at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games with 15 sports in action and seven gold medals up for grabs, including para archery, para athletics, para track cycling, para swimming, para table tennis, para taekwondo, and shooting para sport. 

The day will see the final round of para taekwondo with three gold medals at stake. Wheelchair rugby and wheelchair basketball will continue with intense preliminary rounds, and 15 new gold medallists will be crowned in para swimming.

French athletes to watch include Timothée Adolphe and Trésor Makunda in the 400m T11 para athletics, Dimitri Jozwicki in the 100m T38, and Alexandre Léauté, a top contender in the 1,000m C1-3 para track cycling time trial. 

The Portal brothers, Kylian and Alex, will compete in the 400m freestyle S13, while Gaëlle Edon is a medal hopeful in the 10m air pistol SH1 event of para sport shooting. In para table tennis, the French pairs Florian Merrien/Flora Vautier and Clément Berthier/Esteban Herrault will challenge China in their semi-finals.
